About Arapahoe Ceramics Guild

The Arapahoe Ceramics Guild features professional potters, ceramic students, and alumni from Arapahoe Community College. Based at ACC, the guild’s purpose is to encourage and promote the art of hand-made ceramics. We offer opportunities for ceramic artists to exchange knowledge and ideas and to learn the business aspect of marketing art. We work as a community to mentor students in the Clay Club and to educate the general public in the potter’s process.

Interested in joining?

The Arapahoe Ceramics Guild is only open to ACC students and alumni. We invite interested potters to take a course with our talented and nationally known instructors. Along with informative demonstrations, consultations, and academic challenges, the ceramics studio at ACC offers opportunity to participate in a wide variety of firings, including: cone 10 gas and wood kilns, low fire electric, mid range electric, Raku, pit fire, and high and low fire salt kilns. Students have access to a spray booth, glaze chemicals, wheels, slab rollers, and  many ceramic related decorative forms.
